Installation of the extension
- Install and activate the extension via the Shopware extension manager.
- Next, open the extension configuration via the three dots on the right side of the extension.
- For detailed information on the various configuration options take a look at the help texts behind every option and our FAQ.
- Now, you can start creating your first bundle product.
- To do so, navigate to the product overview in the administration and create a new product or open the details of an existing one.
- Within the “General”-tab scroll down untill you find the “Bundle product configuration” section.
- Now you can start adding items to your bundle product, these can be any other product already present in your store except for products already configured as bundle products since we don’t support nested bundles due to performance considerations.
- You can order the positions of these items by using the arrows in the position column, set the quantity of each item and provide an additional comment which will be appended to the product name.
- Now depending on the price calculation mode you’ve configured in the extension configuration, some extra options will be available to you.
- Discount - When using the SUM price mode, you can configure a percentual discount that will be applied to the total price of the bundle.
- Allow item selection - When using the SUM price mode, you can allow the customer to decide if they want to include/exclude certain items of the bundle.
- Allow quantity selection - When using the SUM price mode, you can allow the customer to decide how many of each item they want to include in the bundle. This is restricted by the min/max order quantity of each item and their respective available stock.
- Offer bundle optionally - This will allow the customer to decide if they want to include the contents of the bundle in their cart or not. By default the option will be selected to add the contents of the bundle to the cart, but the customer can deselect it, adding only the current product to the cart without its contents.
- Show bundle item prices on Storefront - This will show the prices of the items included in the bundle on the product detail page.
- Show total price on Storefront - This will show the total price of the bundle on the product detail page.
- Save your product and you’re done. The bundle product will now be available in your storefront.
